Dr Christian Gude received his MSc. biochemistry degree from the Technical University of Munich. In 2021, he gained his Ph.D. at the University of Nottingham. His research in synthetic biology was committed to the metabolic engineering of the bacterium Cupriavidus necator, to produce C5 platform chemicals from hydrogen and industrial waste gases. Christian will be pursuing his goals of developing innovative and sustainable biochemical solutions in his new role as a Research Scientist at Phenotypeca.
